More about a Parish Visit
Presenting during Mass offers a comfortable environment for this important message because the large crowd offers anonymity.
Preparation for visit
A core group of volunteers is helpful.
This core group would:
- Pray for grace of repentance and conversions
- Advertise the visit 3 to 4 weeks in advance (include surrounding parishes)
- via parish bulletins and/or flyers
Weekend of Visit
A volunteer from core group to:
- Serve as a Prayer partner to cover Debbie during each Mass.
- Help at table after each Mass, passing out literature, supervising mailing list sign up. (This person offers visible support from the parish and allows Debbie to meet parishioners.)
When’s the best time to share her witness?
After the homily so people have time to reflect on the message during the Mass.
How much time?
About 12 minutes, so Debbie can share her witness and ministry stories that illustrate God’s forgiveness and mercy.
