Praise and Prayers -- November 30, 2011
Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving! This is the month when we take time to give thanks for the many blessings God has given us. I thank God for my loving family who supports me in this ministry and also for my friends who are a constant source of encouragment. I give thanks for all the talented volunteers and faithful benefactors who allow this ministry to continue as we begin our 13th year! And I especially thank God for the special honor of being called to minister to these beautiful women and to share my witness of 'Hope in God' with countless others. What an awesome privilage and undeserved honor to be an instrument of God's healing grace for so many!
Since my last update, I attended the international Healing Vision Conference in Wisconsin, sponsored by Vicki Thorn, founder of Project Rachel and the National Office for Post Abortion Reconcilliation and Healing. It had been 12 years since the last Healing Vision Conference and during those years there have been two men's conferences. This conference covered both women and men and I had the wonderful opportunity to listen, learn and network with experts in the various fields that encompass abortion recovery...
Praise and Prayers -- October 23, 2011
Wow! What a busy month October has been. First of all I would like to extend a warm welcome to those who are first time recipients of the Praise and Prayer email update. I appreciate your promises of prayer support and will send an update about once a month. The women are deeply touched to know that others care about their healing and well being, and it enhances the healing process for them. God bless you!
Since my last update, I've been to the Catholic Women's Conference, Indianapolis, Indiana where I had a ministry booth. I always enjoy seeing old friends and the opportunity to make new friends as well. A lovely lady I met that Saturday has come forth to begin the program. 'Kathy' (not her real name) is married and has recently returned to the Catholic faith after being away for over 20 years. She has already completed the first three steps of the Ten-Step program and would really appreciate your prayers. If you would like to be an intercessor for 'Kathy' let me know...

May God be Praised for the many blessings He gives to those who trust in Him. Thanks to all who support Healing Hidden Hurts ministry with your steadfast prayers and financial gifts, it is really appreciated, especially during these tough economic times. I thank you on behalf of the women who benefit from the program and receive healing and reconciliation with God and others. May the Lord generously bless you and those you love for your kindness.
Your prayers are benefiting 'Kaye' (not real name) who continues on her healing journey. The storm in her life has calmed down and 'Kaye' is more peaceful these days. May God bless and continue to guide her as she grows in grace and faith. May she now be able to discover her God given talents and cultivate them with gratitude for God's blessings...

Many thanks to those who faithfully support Healing Hidden Hurts ministry with your heartfelt prayers and gifts of time, talent and treasure. I thank you on behalf of the women who find closure, healing and peace through this confidential and free peer ministry.
Please continue to pray for 'Kaye' (not real name) who is preparing for Step 9 which honors her child "living in the Lord". Although she has experienced some tremendous challenges at work, she is staying in the boat and on course in order to gain the prize. I know she would appreciate your prayers. May God calm the storms in her life and bring her safely to shore as she places her trust in Him.
The 8th Annual Catholic Woman's Conference will be held on Saturday, September 17th at the Performing Arts Center located at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. Praise and Prayers -- May 15, 2011
My thanks and gratitude to all of you who pray for those who seek healing through Healing Hidden Hurts ministry. There is so much to be thankful for as prayers are answered and lives are touched and healed. I believe that each person who contacts me receives what they need in that moment, whether they begin the program or not. I do my little part, the rest is up to God. Without our constant prayer many will not have the graces necessary to receive healing and be reconciled with God. I thank you for your faithfulness to prayer!
I appreciate your prayers for 'Sara' (not real name), a young woman who called for help and lived far from Indianapolis. I spoke with her several times, and made arrangements to meet in a parish close to her home. The day prior to our meeting she was so grateful of my efforts to meet with her, but then did not show for our meeting or call to cancel...

And welcome to our new friends from Southern Indiana where I recently spoke at the St. Paul Center in Bloomington. We had a nice mix of people from surrounding parishes, deaneries and other denominations. I enjoyed having a little more time to share stories and answer questions. Your response to my witness was heart warming and affirming. Thanks for your interest and generosity!
Urgent prayers needed for 'Sara' (not real name), a young woman who contacted me last week. She is in great distress and lives quite a distance from Indianapolis. Since she does not drive I will go to her for our get acquainted session. Please pray that God gives her the grace to begin and complete the program, if this is part of His plan for her. If you like to be an intercessor for 'Sara' please let me know...

Two calls came in recently from women interested in beginning the Ten-Step Program. One found my brochure at Little Flower Church where I recently shared my witness during a Parish Visit! And the other one was referred through a 40 Days for Life volunteer. Please keep us in your prayers. We met this week to get acquainted and now they will pray and discern if they are ready to begin the program. Yeah ... I'm so excited!!...

A warm welcome to all our new friends who recently joined the Praise and Prayer email family. January was a very busy month for sharing my witness. I was blessed with the opportunity to speak in two Indianapolis parishes. St. Mark the Evangelist and St. Therese - the Little Flower. I saw many tears and know this is the holy spirit at work. Please pray with me for those whom God is calling forth for healing. May they receive the grace and courage to begin abortion recovery. I really appreciate the warm welcome received and meeting so many nice people - I especially love hearing your stories!
I also had the privilige to participate in the Silent No More rally at the conclusion of the first annual March for Life in Indianapolis. Sister Diane Carollo,SGL, Director of the Office for Pro-Life Ministries, sponsored this wonderful event which was offered in conjuntion with the March for Life in Washington D.C. It was very well attended, and allowed hundreds who were not able to attend the national event to attend locally. My heartfelt appreciation goes to Sister Diane for this great undertaking in remembrance of ALL the victims of abortion!...
