Praise and Prayer March #2
Mar 03 2010
An update
on the ministry by means of a monthly post by
Debbie.
"My heart
is steadfast, O God; my heart is steadfast; I
will sing and chant Praise. For your kindness
towers to the heavens, and your faithfulness to the
skies. Be exalted above the heavens, O God;
That your loved ones may escape, help us by your
right hand, and answer us." Psalm 108: 2,
5-7
Greetings: I am very excited to share answered prayer! A couple Knights of Columbus councils are interested in putting the ministry ad in their parish bulletins. If your K of C council would be interested please contact me. This is one way to help your parish with needed funds and help women in your parish know where to find information on free individual abortion recovery.
Many Thanks to all who pray and intercede for myself and the ministry. And especially for the women going through the Ten Step Program. They are very grateful for your prayers and sacrifices. I thought I'd bring you up to date...
Daisy (not real name) is doing wonderful...she is almost finished, just one more step. Thank you for praying for her, although she was already strong in her faith, she had never dealt with her abortion on a deep level. She has benefited very much from the program and is very grateful to God for the opportunity. I hope she will write something for me to share with all of you in our next Mercy Messenger. As usual I have been richly blessed too, the Lord brings the most beautiful women into my life!
Dee (not real name) is half way through the program, and is really having a hard time, please continue your prayers for her and her family. I tell the ladies before we begin that it gets really tough, but you must go through the fire to get to the other side, right now she is in the fire, please pray extra hard for Dee. A wonderful thing is happening, she is drawing closer to Jesus by reading the scriptures daily, seeking to know Him better. Isn't that awesome!
Another answered prayer...this Saturday I will begin working with Kate (not real name) who will start the Ten-Step Program and will meet every other week, so it will take us about 6 months to get through the program, but that's o.k. The beauty of an individual program is that it can fit their schedule. Please say a prayer for Kate and her children, she is a pregnant, working, single mother. May God bless her for choosing life during a difficult time, and may the Lord richly bless her, and allow her to be a woman filled with grace when she welcomes her newborn baby into the world!
I give Thanks to God for the many opportunities to witness for the ministry. I have several talks scheduled over the next few weeks and am in need of your prayer. May the Lord bless my efforts to present the message well, and may hearts be open to hear and respond. You are welcome to attend tomorrows Stations of the Cross and Fish Fry which precedes the Lenten talk at St. Michael's, and please bring a friend!
March 6 St. Thomas Aquinas, Lafayette - confirmation students
March 14 St. Anthony, Indianapolis -
Women's Christ Renews witness
March 18 St. Joan of Arc, RCIA program (4th year)
March 19 St. Anthony, Indianapolis - Youth Retreat
March 31 Sacred Heart, Fowler IN - Junior High (rescheduled due to snowstorm)
April 14 Purdue University Students for Life
(3rd year)
I Praise God for so many good things that are happening, but unfortunately our income has dropped and our resources are getting dangerously low. If you can help us with a donation today that would help us tremendously, the end of the month is fast approaching. Our mailing address is down below, and we also have a secure donate button on our website
Please pray that God will open the door for me to get into a parish to speak during the Masses. Most of the women who come through the program are from parishes where I have spoken, plus seeds of awareness are planted and abortions are prevented. Please join me and PRAY...PRAY...PRAY...for God to continue to bless this work!
Please remember to pray everyday for ALL who have participated in abortion. For their conversion to Christ who is our HOPE!
God bless you,
Debbie Miller
