Praise and Prayer December
Dec 31 2009
An update
on the ministry by means of a monthly post by
Debbie.
“My spirit
is broken, my lamp of life extinguished; my burial is
at hand. I am indeed mocked, and, as their
provocation mounts, my eyes grow dim. Grant me
one to offer you a pledge on my behalf; who is there
that will give surety for me?”
Job
17: 1-3
Greetings:
I write my text and then ask the Holy Spirit for a scripture verse…I am always amazed at what the Lord gives me to share with you!
Wishing you all a most blessed New Year! As I said in my December Mercy Messenger, this past year was my busiest ever…more women came forward for the program and more speaking events were offered…and I’m off to a good start with 3 women who are in need of your prayers and sacrifices for the New Year.
I ask for your prayers today for a woman ‘Mimi’ (not real name) who contacted me this week from the internet. I’m so excited! We will meet today, Thursday, at 10:30 am., please pray that if it pleases God she will continue with the program and find healing and peace with her past.
I Praise the Lord for the two women I am currently working with. One woman ‘Daisy’ (not real name) is a practicing catholic married woman whose children are grown. She is ready for the 6th step and we meet on Wednesday’s. It would be wonderful if someone would agree to pray and fast on Wednesday for Daisy.
Another woman ‘Dee’ (not real name) began with Step 1 this week on Tuesdays. She is married with 2 small children and is just returning to the faith after being away for over 25 years. Yeh!!! If someone would agree to pray and fast for Dee on Tuesdays I know God would bless you abundantly!
I am so happy because both these women have support from family, but they still need your prayers as it is very difficult to open the doors of the past and look honestly at your mistakes. But abortion sin and pain is so great that you must break open the wound in order to be healed from the inside out. Please let me know if you will agree to pray for one of these women while she goes through the 10-step program. Believe me the women are so grateful when I tell them that others are praying for them!
Please ask your pro-life group to sponsor me for a parish visit to speak at the Masses. This is where I get most of the women who come forward for healing. They will attend a Mass because it offers anonymity. Lent is a good time for a parish visit, and so is the feast of the Divine Mercy. Last year it brought forth the woman who had been away from the church for over 26 years, so St. Faustina wants to help us reach these women!
I must go for now, I have a very busy day. Please remember to pray everyday for ALL who have participated in abortion. For repentance and conversion of heart!
Blessings to all,
Debbie Miller
