Praise and Prayer April

An update
on the ministry by means of a monthly post by
Debbie.
“You who
dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in
the shadow of the Almighty, Say to the Lord,
“My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I
trust,”…because he clings to me, I will
deliver him; I will set him on high because he
acknowledges my name. He shall call upon me,
and I will answer him; I will be with him in
distress; I will deliver him and glorify him; with
length of days I will gratify him and will show him
my salvation.”
Psalm 91: 1,2,14-16
Greetings!
I thank you for your continued prayers for myself and the ministry. God is certainly blessing this work, as I have had so many opportunities to speak I have not had time to get the newsletter written. It is certainly past due, but it will come in God’s perfect timing. I have had so many personal difficulties this Lent, as I’m sure many of you have had also. Our beloved St. Pio said “trials and difficulties are sent by God, temptations are from the enemy.” These trials gives us a chance to grow in faith as we cling to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For we know that “All things work together for good to those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
I Praise the Lord for the opportunities to speak at several locations during the past few weeks. At St. Joan of Arc for the RCIA participants, Little Flower women’s club, and the St. Anthony CCD students. I will have a booth again at the Catholic Women’s Conference, please stop by and say hello on the morning of Saturday, April 17th. If you have not yet signed up…it’s not too late…go to www.indianacatholicwomen.com. Hope to see you there…where you will enjoy a day with your sisters in Christ and receive nourishing food for the journey!
I ask for Prayer for Divine Mercy Sunday, April 18th when I will be speaking at St. Patrick’s, Kokomo at all the Masses. Times are Saturday 5:30 pm., Sunday morning at 6:30, 8:00, and 11:00 am. The date for St. John Vianney in Fishers is still pending. Please ask your Pastor to invite me into your parish this year, so that God may reach those in your community who need to hear this message of hope.
I Praise God and need your prayers for April 22, when Sally Williams and I will present to the student body at Bishop Chatard high school our personal testimonies. This is the first time for me to give my personal testimony to a large group of high school students. I pray our words may be a blessing to them, and may help them discover the truth about abortion and it’s aftermath. May our witness inspire them to share the truth with others and become active in protecting the innocent, while offering compassion to those who have made this ‘poor choice’.
I thank you for your faithful prayers for the women going through the program with me. All is going well and we are just about finished. They have both reached a turning point…so my prayer is that “what God has begun will continue” long after we stop meeting. It is their personal relationship with Jesus that offers them hope, as they realize all is not definitively lost. Jesus loves them so much! He desires to heal them and draw them into Himself, so they may be transformed into the woman He created them to be from all eternity! What an awesome and merciful God we serve….may He be praised forever and ever!
Please pray for the ministry as some changes take place. I will be switching from dial-up internet to Cable service which includes the phone service, I hope and pray all will go smoothly. If you have trouble reaching me on the (317) 297-7578 number, you may reach me direct by calling (317) 490-1267. The ministry is transitioning from an Advisory Board to a Board of Directors, if you feel you have talents to share to help the ministry grow… please contact me, we especially need people who can help us raise funds, we operate by donations only and our funds have dropped, please continue to support us as you can.
May God bless each of you,
Debbie Miller
